Who We Are
ELM Members
ELM members are those who have a love of learning. This leads us to our tag line “ELM – Serving Senior Adults with a Lifelong Passion for Learning.”
ELM Registration Fee
ELM’s affordable registration fee is due to the generosity of Marietta FUMC that has hosted the organization since September 1984, our unpaid instructors, and other volunteers. The $50.00 fee is per session, not $50.00 per class. You may take up to three classes for $50.
How Your ELM Fee Is Spent
Your ELM fee helps pay for the following expenses: postage, printing, copying, office supplies, website, subsidized lunches for 90-100 instructors & volunteers, donations to FUMC, liability insurance, and administration salaries. If you have questions, please direct them to the Board Chairman or Director.
Donate To ELM
The minimal class fees do not cover all expenses incurred in presenting ELM programs. Please consider giving a tax-deductible donation to ELM, to help cover the costs. ELM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Limited ELM Scholarships
Need-based scholarships for registration fees only, depending on available funding, are given on a first come, first served basis to Cobb County residents. Please contact the Director, Kelly Daugherty at elmcobb@gmail.com for more information regarding ELM Scholarships.
