All humans are programmed for health and wellness. Our genetic makeup has not changed in the last 40,000 years. Among our hunting and gathering ancestors, disease such as: heart, lung, kidney, and colds, flues and cancers were nonexistent. However, today our phenotype (how we express our genes) or how well we adapt to environment has become unrecognizable over the last 100 years. We are now the sickest species on the planet. How does that happen? Your genetic makeup is just like a blueprint for building a house. Now think of two houses with the exact same blueprint. One house is built with top of the line, high quality materials while the other house is built with the fastest, cheapest materials that could be found. Is there going to be a difference in the two houses? Of course!!! Should you blame the blueprint? Of course not!!! It is the same with your body.
